Creating this 1940s lakeside elopement was so much fun. I love that I was able to use a lot of color into this day! Fun fact: we created the color scheme around the bride's beautiful departure dress. Our bride and groom started out by wearing traditional wear for their ceremony and then, for their picnic reception, they themselves into an adorable 1940s inspired couple straight out of The Notebook! Seriously, at one point, I had to remind myself that they were not Allie a Noah!

Thinking about a person in the jewelry store picking out a ring that is perfect for their significant other gives me all the goosey feels.
